Searching for information is as simple as a mouse click with this helpful Web search tool, but it may take you a little while to get the hang of it. JiveQ-InfoClick's interface is a bit confusing to navigate because it consists only of characters, not words. You have to hover your mouse over each character to see what job it performs. It does offer some handy demos that show you how to use the tool, but you'll need time to locate the help menu first.
The main window acts like a Web browser where you can pick from such sites as Google, Wikipedia, or YouTube to search for a particular word or phrase. While you're in one of your own documents, pressing a key combination next to a word brings up the Search Console, making it easy to search while working.
We also really liked the snapshot feature, which allows you to take a picture of a Web page to e-mail, copy, or print. The highlighting tool really speeds up your search by highlighting the searched word each time it shows up on the Web page. Despite not having a user-friendly interface, anyone in need of a quick Web search will reap the benefits of this free search tool.
