Here is a view down the primary aisle at the Showcase Pavilion, the main show floor at this year's E3 game expo. The booths, as it's easy to see, are mainly uniform in size, and are small, especially compared with the monster booths that were the hallmarks of past E3s at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Last year, the convention was held in Santa Monica, Calif., near downtown Los Angeles, but removed from its traditional home at the convention center. This year, it's back at the LACC, but it is far smaller than it had been in the past. The gathering winds down Thursday.
